Disaster Relief Fund

The Louisiana Library Association’s Disaster Relief Program was created in response to the needs of libraries after the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The purpose of the Disaster Relief Program is to make funds available to help Louisiana libraries recover from damages due to recent disasters. All libraries in the state that are affected by a disaster are invited to apply for funds.

The Louisiana Library Association is a non-profit organization recognized under Code Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. Donations to the Disaster Relief Fund are deductible as charitable contributions. If you would like to make a donation by check, please mail to the LLA Office at 8550 United Plaza Blvd., Suite 1001, Baton Rouge, LA 70809, and include Disaster Relief Fund on the memo line.
